The exhibition’s theme is the flora and the fauna of the Hainburg Mountains as well as the cultural and historical background of these specific dry grasslands. The various topics are presented on abstract „grassed surfaces“ situated at low altitude and thus allowing the visitor to walk eye-to-eye with the insects and the grasses.

The exhibition’s highlight is the insects’ world simultaneously shown on several projection surfaces with the visitor in its middle.
