Residential building in Vienna’s 5th district, designed by BWM Architekten. 36 two- and three-room flats on seven floors are currently under construction in the privately financed apartment building with underground parking. The compact structure’s continuous facade, which faces Laurenzgasse, is interrupted by floor-to-ceiling windows. Each flat has its own open space, in the form of either a balcony or a private garden. Further, four outdoor seating areas in the courtyard serve to enhance the sense of community between the tenants. This new building fills a large gap between two existing Gründerzeit houses.
