Refurbishment of the top floor with a bar and the ground floor area of Wombat’s City Hostel Berlin

Wombat’s Berlin’s famous rooftop terrace with a spectacular view across the city is one of its most outstanding features. The top floor has been redesigned for flexible usage: it is operated as a bar in the evenings, and during the day it is transformed into a breakfast room. In line with the design concept created by BWM Architekten, pieces of furniture typical for Berlin add an edgy industrial touch to the interior: unprocessed construction steel for the grid structure and industrial glass for the lighting, in combination with the characteristic tiles found in Berlin’s metro stations.
