Interior design for the lobby, reception, bar, guest kitchen and common area of a city hostel in London
This city hostel in the centre of London, within walking distance of Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, is yet another project of the successful Wombats chain. The hostel, located in former sailors’ lodgings, is especially attractive to young travellers. The aim is to make everyone who stays here feel at home. The deliberately reduced design is highly interactive and in the laid-back style of student digs. The materials are simple – iron pipe furniture, wooden benches, tiles – the colours are warm but unpretentious. The new design has retained the creaky, panelled charm of the former sailors’ quarters.Interior design for the lobby, reception, bar, guest kitchen and common area of a city hostel in London
