BWM Architects

Wombat’s is a no-fuss hostel with a young, urban clientele. Guests are made to feel like flatmates in temporary student digs, where everyone has brought along a piece of their own furniture. Wombat’s have two hostels in Vienna. The Naschmarkt Wombat’s has an attractive, central location. The lobby and the bar were given a makeover using ideas provided by BWM Architekten. A number of design elements – from the fabric colours and patterns, wall surfaces and carefully picked items of furniture – tie in with the Gründerzeit atmosphere of the city.
