BWM Designers & Architects

András Klopfer (born in Budapest in 1980) is BWM Designers & Architect’s retail expert with a strong focus on hospitality.

After completing his studies in Budapest (HU), he worked for various architecture firms in Budapest, Kassel (DE) and Colchester (UK).

András joined BWM Designers & Architects in 2007. Together with Daniela Walten he is one of the Managing Directors of the sister company bwm retail founded in 2013.

With bwm retail, András realises major shop concepts for international brands throughout Europe, handling all aspects from pre-design up to opening day. He has an extensive international network at his disposal, which is one of the key success factors of his many design-build projects. He is also directing his attention to the challenges of shopping centre redesign and innovation implementation in design.

Currently his main focus is the business development of international hospitality and retail projects. Working on projects across the European continent, Middle East and Australia, while at the same time actively expanding international relationships globally at trade fairs and conferences.
