On 27 January the International Day of Commemoration of the victims of the Holocaust takes place. In memory of those victims and of the Jewish musician and conductor of the women’s orchestra in Auschwitz-Birkenau Alma Rosé (1906-1944), the House of Austrian History (Haus der Geschichte Österreich, hdgö) has installed a commemorative platform that will bear the name of „Alma Rosé plateau“ on the first floor of the Neue Burg.
