Wien Museum vor Ort / Competition
BWM Architekten won the competition for a temporary use concept for the Wien Museum. They designed a flexible structure consisting of prefabricated components – a scaffolding and containers – that is set up at various public places in the city and highlights the principle of use and reuse. “With the help of the participating companies’ inventories, the Wien Museum materialises itself on the spot and can then return to their storehouses after use,” BWM’s project team explains. This basic structure can be used for different types of content and presentation formats.
