Exhibition "The Myth of Salzburg"
Redesign of the permanent exhibition „The Myth of Salzburg“ on the second floor of the Salzburg Museum. In several years of concept and planning work BWM architecs have conceived together with the scientific museum team and the curatorial head Dr. Dieter Bogner an overall composition as regards content and space, the precise combination of modern exhibition dramaturgy and classic museum presentation representing a true novelty within the landscape of Austrian museums.

Das Salzburg Museum ist 2009 mit dem European Museum of the Year Award vom Europäischen Museums Forum (EMF) ausgezeichnet worden.

Austrian Museum Award 2007
In September 2008 in an official ceremony the Austrian Museum Award 2007 was awarded to the Salzburg Museum. The chairman of the jury explained the Committee's unanimous decision was ultimately based on the museum's modern and innovative exhibition concept.
