Pretul wind farm
Modular outdoor exhibition.
Competition result: 1st place. The object of the tender was an information centre revolving around the first wind farm operated by the Austrian Federal Forestry Office in the Mürzzuschlag area. BWM Architekten proposed a modular outdoor exhibition that would unfold along the wind farm’s footpath. Two measures were selected from the multipart concept for implementation: an exhibition module with information about the wind farm and another installation at Schwarzriegelmoos. Among other things, a new footbridge and a mountain bike trail will protect the moor and enhance the area.

Enjoying the moor
The moor visitor platform within the renaturalized Schwarzriegelmoos in Eastern Styria planned by BWM Architekten was officially opened! Crossing the new visitor platform of oak and larch wood the moor landscape can be explored nature–friendly and can be observed from the next nearness. Places to sit, an observation platform and a weather shelter invite visitors to linger in this precious natural jewel offering a habitat for unique animals and plants.
